Virginia Beach

With hot summer days and warm summer nights upon us who wouldn't want to go on a family vacation or even a romantic getaway for two?  Have you ever considered escaping to Virginia Beach? I have not been personally lucky enough to visit but there are so many reasons why it is such an ideal location...

*The Beaches: I think I speak for everyone when I say we can all use a day at the beach. The warm sun, cool breeze, and beautiful surroundings. Whether you spend the day reading a book or building sandcastles with the kids you wouldn't be disappointed. 

*Virginia Beach Events: Virginia Beach also has year round events. Everything from festivals, performances, or even a new exhibit to be seen. There is always something to be found.

*Fishing: Spend the afternoon fishing in what is considered to be an angler's paradise. Virginia Beach has a large range of fish and fishing destinations that is sure to put a smile on any fishermans face.

*Golfing: If you are or know a golf lover Virginia Beach is a hole in one! With over 198 holes of golf you can plan an entire vacation starting at $244 per golfer in the summer and $209 per golfer in the fall.

*Shopping: Shopping is one of my favorite things to do while on vacation. I love searching for local treasures and exploring all the little shops. Virginia Beach offers a shoppers dream with the Lynnhaven mall, which is on the largest malls on the entire east coast. I know I could spend an entire afternoon shopping there...how about you?

*Adventures: I would love to spend the day touring Virginia Beach and soaking in all the rich history they have to offer. How about a tour of the US Navys Master Jet Base? Or an up close look at the 34 foot  cast bronze Neptune statue ? It is a great way to keep the kids engaged in education while on vacation.

*Reunions: Are you looking for the perfect destination for your next family reunion? Or how about a weekend getaway with your closest girlfriends? Virginia beach offers many activities to keep you busy. I would love to go whale watching.

*Food: They offer up an abundance of coastal eats. I am personally a huge lover of all seafood. I can only imagine how amazing and delicious it would be to spend the day on one of Virginia Beach's coastal food tours. 

*Great for kids & teens: If laying on the beach all day isn't the ideal vacation for the kids you can take them to walk or bike on the boardwalk. Or maybe they would love to spend a rainy afternoon exploring the Virginia Aquarium And Marine Science Center?

*Destination Weddings: How would you like to tie the know right on the beach...barefoot with the warm sand between your toes? Sounds like a dream to me!
