Nyanya Project #SocialGoodMoms

Hello lovely's...
I am so excited to let everyone in on a little bit of awesome information,
I have recently become a part of a great group of bloggers who are using their voices to spread some good in the world! I am really looking forward to seeing all of the amazing things that Mom Bloggers For Social Good can accomplish in 2012!

Today I would love for you all to learn a little bit about one of our partners- the Nyanya Project. They are a North Carolina Non-Profit Organization that educates preschool children in Kibera, which is one of the largest slums in east Africa.

In order for the Nyanya Project to continue educating these young children, they have set a goal to try and raise $20,000 by Mother's Day of 2012. Now, I know that seems like a lot, but it is just a mere $20 from 1000 people...or even $10 from 2000...etc etc.

If you are interested in learning more about the Nyanya Project you can visit:  www.nyanyaproject.org or visit their ChipIn page at http://nyanyaproject.chipin.com/nyanya-project

Disclosure: This post was written while participating in a campaign with Mom Bloggers For Social Good on behalf of the Nyanya Project. All information was provided to me. This is not a sponsored post and no compensation was received.
