Connie Wooldridge Books {review}

One of my favorite things to do is to curl up with the kiddos and read books. In fact, it has been my favorite part of our days for years, and both of the kids really look forward to it as well. We have just had the pleasure of reviewing two books written by Author Connie Wooldridge.

The two books we reviewed were Wicked Jack and Just Fine The Way They Are.

Wicked Jack is meaner than a rattlesnake. This book is an adaptation of old folktales which are said to be where the origin of Jack-O-Lanterns came from. The book was a little on the spooky side while still staying age appropriate. It was a fun way to learn about the old folktale, and just in time for Halloween!

Just Fine The way They Are is a really great book about the way the dirt roads of the 1800's turned into the U.S. highway system of today. Little Dude especially loved this book. It was great because it really kept him interested in the story while he got to learn about dirt roads, rail roads, and interstates.

If you want to learn more about these books you visit Connie Wooldridge's website at:
ConnieWooldridge.com. You can also connect on twitter here or on Facebook here

*you can also watch a trailer on the website and download lesson plans to go along with the book*

We had a great time reading both books, and I know that they will be on the top of our "book pile" for sometime!

Disclosure: I received these products free of charge from the PR agency/company to conduct a review and base my opinions on. No other form of compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own and were not influenced in any way.
